JoJo Bayliss is an Independent singer-songwriter from the DMV. His take on pop music indulges most genres and many influences, yet he incorporates his own sound using melodic tones and driving rhythms for each song. Vocally he has been compared often to a modern-day James Taylor. Bayliss brings excitement and energy to the stage with his acoustic performances, as well as his heart-felt melodic ballads that leave an impression on every audience.
Over his thirty year+ tenure, JoJo Bayliss has toured regionally with several acts. He has shared the stage with Run DMC, Blues Traveler, The Wailers, Fuel, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Vanilla Ice, and many more. He draws most of his musical strength through today's indie-pop/folk artists such as Anthony DaCosta, The Ballroom Thieves, and Beta Radio to reputable Nashville songwriters like Lori McKenna and Robby Hecht. He also grew up and was mentored by greats such as Roy Buchanan and several other Washington DC legends, that stemmed from the 1960's era; including his father who also toured and had success backing Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, and many more.
Currently, JoJo Bayliss averages over 150 gigs a year and is looking to extend his network worldwide. He is in the process of writing a new album and extends himself to other forms of art including film, photography, and writing.

"JoJo covers the entire musical spectrum and does it pretty darn well [...] Where some bands take a lofty, aspirational approach to the music world, he is about as real as it gets." - Jesse Scott - Free Lance-Star
